Senior Research Scientist, Molecular Biology

The main focus of the role is to lead the practical work to ensure the timely progression of a new project .

You will be educated to PhD level or have equivalent experience in one of the following areas – biochemistry, cell biology, immunology or pharmacology. Regardless of the discipline you will have a strong understanding of molecular biology and have extensive experience with tissue culture techniques. You will need to have knowledge of running multiple projects and working to stringent timelines. In addition, you will need to have strong bioinformatics skills and experience with sequence analysis software packages.

As a person you will need to be adaptable and flexible in your approach. You will be comfortable with complex theories and able to use this in your problem solving skills. The role demands that you are a good team player who is an excellent communicator.
