Medical Science Liaison

* The successful candidate must have a MD (preferred), PharmD, or PhD in biological sciences with substantial industry experience.
* Robust and current experience in nephrology disease area relating to recently-launched and marketed biologics/ therapies required.
* Candidates must have well-established networks and active relationships with nephrology-focused KOLs.
* Preference given to candidate with recent pediatric contacts.
* Prefer candidate with membership in ASN (American Society of Nephrology).
* The candidate should have excellent communication skills (both oral and written), energetically embrace responsibilities, demonstrated ability to achieve goals, have a strong personal initiative, and function well as part of a cross-functional team.
* Office is home based. Travel within region 3-4 days per week with 1-2 office days per week.
* Required travel to medical meetings, team meetings and other group meetings (will require some weekends –possible 6 /year).
